QBit is a semiconductor company specializing in chip design, focused on developing System‑on‑Chip (SOC) solutions for high‑speed intelligent image processing and precision motion control. The company’s products are widely applied across diverse fields, ranging from office equipment to industrial, retail, and smart devices. Major application sectors include multifunction printers (MFPs), printers, and expanded markets such as medical devices and intelligent self-service systems, offering highly integrated, stable, and efficient chip solutions.

Looking ahead, QBit will integrate its three core technologies—intelligent image process, precision motion control, and energy-aware sensing management—while expanding into ASIC design and secure chip development. 2026

  • Completed Series B fundraising, led by the international IP giant ARM Limited.

2025

  • QB7xxx secure boot functionality successfully passed the ML-DSA cryptographic algorithm validation (CAVP) certification.
  • Received Sony Green Partner certification.
  • Received ISO 9001:2015 international quality management certification.
  • Completed Series A fundraising; investors included the National Development Fund, Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan Fertilizer Group, Taiwan Business Bank, EDOM Technology, Faraday Technology, among others.

2024

  • Authorized by Synopsys to integrate its TRNG (True Random Number Generator) core. Future products will incorporate TRNG to enhance SOC security without requiring an external security chip.

2023

  • Received investment from AB Value Capital Partners, followed by the arrival of a new management team and board restructuring to strengthen corporate momentum.
  • QB66xx SOC series officially entered mass production, utilizing TSMC’s 28nm process, and continuing the strong power‑management and energy‑saving architecture of QB63xx series.
  • Launched development of the next‑generation QB7xxx SOC, featuring ARM Cortex‑A76 processor.
  • Taipei office was relocated to the Neihu Technology Park.
  • Established U.S. subsidiary QBIT USA in Boston, focusing on chip R&D.
  • Established Japan subsidiary QBIT JP in Shinagawa, Tokyo, responsible for market development and customer support.

2021

  • Became a member of the MIPI Alliance, an industry consortium that develops hardware and software interface standards for mobile and mobile‑influenced devices.

2020

  • QB63xx SOC series entered mass production. Its low‑power mode consumes only 65 mW, helping customers meet ENERGY STAR 3.0 and energy‑efficiency requirements.

2018

  • Completed preliminary design of 63xx SOC series, adopting the 28nm process to deliver improved performance, lower cost, and enhanced security levels.

2016

  • QBit was founded, with core R&D members originating from Qualcomm’s imaging‑processing engineering team.
