QBit licenses Synopsys TRNG core for enhanced security in future SOCs

QBit announced today that it has licensed a True Random Number Generator (TRNG) core from Synopsys, Inc. The standards-compliant TRNG core generates cryptographically-secure random numbers for use in security-related functions such as doing secure data transfers over a network. The TRNG core is one element in a set of enhanced security capabilities QBit is putting into future SOCs to enable products to meet evolving security requirements including FIPS 140, Common Criteria, and the European Union’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) without needing add-on security chips.
